How to use Power Favorites to synchronize your bookmarks

 Here’s how to use Power Favorites to synchronize your favorites between computers. Power Favorites makes it easy to keep your bookmarks synchronized, and helps you avoid losing them, e.g. when you reinstall your system.

Install Power Favorites

1. Download the setup program from the web.
2. Install the program on your computer.
3. To add support for Firefox: From the main window Tools menu, select Install Firefox add-on.
4. To add support for Opera: From the main window Tools menu, select Install Opera add-on.

Create an account

When you first run Power Favorites, a wizard asks if you would like to create an account on remote server. Type your username, password and email address to register a new account. Power Favorites will need visit out web site (You can find our privacy policy here)  You can also click cancel and then start Account Wizard from Tools menu.

Import your favorites

1. Click File and select Import...
2. Select the source you want to import from and click Next.
3. For Internet Explorer: Select the directory you want to import from. By default, the wizard chooses your default favorites directory . Click Next to finish.
4. For Firefox or Opera: Select the bookmark file  to import from. By default, the wizard chooses your default bookmark file . Click Next to finish.

Upload your bookmark file to remote server

From the main window  Tools menu, select Synchronize Power Favorites. The status bar tells you how the synchronization is progressing.
